The broad objective of this program is to provide graduate students with the skills necessary to find and sustain employment and to conduct independent study and research in biomedical engineering.
Graduates of the Ph.D. program are expected to accomplish the following outcomes.
1. Advanced command of engineering principles and their applications in medicine and biology.
2. Ability to define and conduct an independent research project.
3. Disseminate research findings to the broader scientific community.
4. Develop a sense of professional ethics, responsibility, and service.
