About the College
The Louisiana Tech College of Engineering and Science equips engineers and scientists to develop solutions for the challenges of tomorrow. As our students prepare to build tomorrow’s world, they receive hands-on, interdisciplinary training in applied sciences, computer science, engineering, and mathematics. In addition to pursuing degree options, they can participate in research both in class and at integrated research centers, where they collaborate with faculty and other experts in various areas, such as nanotechnology, cyber security and green engineering.

Computer Science Requirements for a Minor

Students in other departments who wish to minor in Computer Science are required to take 21 semester hours of Computer Science courses consisting of Computer Science 100, 120, 122, 220, 325, and six additional hours (at the 300-level or above).
