Assistive Devices for Independent Living
Assistive Devices for Indpendent Living (ADL) are a vital part of each person's life. For people with disabilities, activities such as eating, dressing, personal hygiene, housekeeping tasks, and control of the environement can be challenging. CREST has an ADL assessment facility where the consumer's current functional level of activities performed in daily tasks can be evaluated. Adaptive living equipment is then prescribed to assist the person to become more independet in his/her home environment.
