Wheelchair Transportation
The Wheelchair Transportation Program provides an evaluation of a consumer's wheelchair and scooter transportation needs. Considerations for unoccupied systems include loading, unloading and transporting the consumer's wheeled mobility system. For consumers who ride in a wheelchair while in a vehicle, proper tie-down and occupant protections systems are recommended. Evaluations also include a review of the consumer's vehicle needs and recommendations for proper vehicles choices.
