Today's Leaders in Engineering and Science 2012-2013

Today's Leaders in Engineering and Science 2013, College of Engineering and Science, Raymond M. Salinas, Executive Vice-President Popular Ink! will talk about Life after Louisiana Tech. Ray earned his B.S. degree in biomedical engineering at Louisiana Tech in 2005. After graduation, he briefly worked in engineering, but his career took a different path. Ray is now a successful entrepreneur. Come hear his story. Monday, March 25, 2013 at 4:00 p.m., University Hall.

Today’s Leaders in Engineering and Science 2012, Louisiana Tech University, Jon Manns, Site Manager, PPG Industries.  Jon Manns has been the Site Manager at PPG’s Lake Charles facility since 2005 and has worked at the plant for more than 30 years.  He has also worked for PPG in Taiwan and West Virginia.  He is active in the Louisiana Chemical Association and was chairman of the group in 2010.  Jon received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University in 1974. Today’s Leaders in Engineering and Science 2012, Louisiana Tech University, Matt Saurage, Chairman of the Board, Community Coffee Company.   Matt received a B.S. in engineering from Louisiana Tech and an M.B.A. from Vanderbilt University.  Matt became Chairman of the Board of Community Coffee in 2012 but has been involved with the company since 1995.  He also leads the company’s philanthropic projects, including its Community Cash for Schools program, which benefited more than 800 schools last year.
