Engineering and Technology Management - Industry Interest and Partnerships
The Engineering and Technology Management degree program is a unique degree for Louisiana Tech that offers the potential for significant workforce development of employees while minimizing the disruption to the normal workday. We would be happy to work with area and regional companies and government agencies to provide more information about the program. In addition to Dr. Beth Hegab being the point of contact for the program, two people that have roles specifically to work with area and regional industries are:
Dr. Scott R. Forrest - Center Director of the Technology Transfer Center Shreveport
Dr. Forrest possesses a unique blend of operational military and engineering researchexperience. He has been associated with the university since 1988 and earned both his Master of Science and his Ph.D. at Louisiana Tech. His research activities include the development of micro and nano technologies with military, homeland defense and aerospace applications. Dr. Forrest recently retired from military service with over 30 years experience as a Marine Corps and Air Force Reserve pilot. Dr. Forrest was appointed as the Center Director on October 1, 2008.
