About the College
The Louisiana Tech College of Engineering and Science equips engineers and scientists to develop solutions for the challenges of tomorrow. As our students prepare to build tomorrow’s world, they receive hands-on, interdisciplinary training in applied sciences, computer science, engineering, and mathematics. In addition to pursuing degree options, they can participate in research both in class and at integrated research centers, where they collaborate with faculty and other experts in various areas, such as nanotechnology, cyber security and green engineering.

Physics Mission Statement

PM1. We will provide the highest possible quality physics education to both physics and non-physics majors at Louisiana Tech University.

PM2. Through innovations in classrooms and in laboratories, we will educate the students in the highest level of scientific principles, and provide an environment in which all students will be exposed to the application of these principles in state of the art research projects at world class research facilities.
