Varsity Metrics

Team Members: Dillan Mickel, Zachary Browning, Sam Vandiver, Conner Angelle

Sponsor: Jonathan Hyde

Our app is a combination of playbooks statistics for players and games, among many other things, for high school football coaches. The use of our app boils down to high school football teams winning more games by utilizing it. Though College teams and the NFL already have a lot of access to statistics, insights, and data about their players and plays, many high school teams do not have the money for this. Imagine if every high school football coach had access to the kind of statistical technology, we could see much better teams across the nation which would make the sport more exciting, which in turn generates more revenue for high schools and better experiences for players. Football coaches on the high school level mainly use film review for getting information on their previous games.

Skriptor

Team Members: Chad Auchard, Stephan Johnson, Caleb Matherne, Daniel Roy

Sponsor: Maj Jake Ehrlich and Capt Alexander Lambert, Air Force Global Strike Command A-9

This application is designed to aid writers in creating and organizing their projects in the same place it is being written. While focused on people who wish to create worlds and stories, it can also be used for those who wish to keep their ideas in a customizable, connected place. Juggling multiple ideas while crafting a story can be overwhelming, making it crucial to have tools that aid visualization and organization. Skriptor provides a workspace that helps prevent plot holes, loose ends, and creative roadblocks. Writers need a flexible writing tool that aids in every step of creating a story because it is difficult to create a cohesive narrative that fits the intended vision.

Copper 2 Gold is a resale assistant for identification and evaluation of items utilizing eBay’s database, as well as tracking sale opportunities and managing your own sales. Our development was done inside of expo go’s environment utilizing react native. Firebase is our backend, also connected to our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) managing our account, database, and storing the secure eBay keys to access the Api. It has been developed through the react native framework so that is both accessible on android and apple devices. Why resale? Growing up going to garage sales was always an enjoyable pastime, almost like a treasure hunt for finding lost or forgotten items. Many people now make their careers on this concept, finding items in estate sales, garage sales, and many other locations for resale, but the process for identifying items of worth is often cumbersome and tiring. Our app aims to streamline that process and be a useful tool to effectively identify and determine ideal investments.

ServeWell

Team Members: Hayley Owen, James McMahan, Sean Bell, RJ Banks

Sponsor: Zakaria El-Awadi

ServeWell is a church management software specifically designed for small churches. Small churches need to be efficient with their money, their time, and their overall resources because those resources are scarce and dwindling. Most churches use management softwares in order to help boost their productivity and gain insights into their spending and income. While these kinds of softwares are considered to be virtually necessary in modern churches, they are not affordable or even possible for smaller, rural churches due to high monthly premiums that these softwares charge. Our purpose is to make a comparative software aimed toward smaller churches for free use. Our software provides smaller churches with tracking resources for their finances, members, and scheduling with an emphasis in a simple UI that an older generation church administration should be able to easily use.
