Diversity and Inclusion Council
One of the missions of the MALT IAC is to implement a diversity and inclusion plan that helps effectively recruit talent and growth opportunities among underrepresented groups and to serve disadvantaged communities within our region. Members of the Diversity and Inclusion Council assist the MALT IAC reviewing the D&I plan and discussing with the MALT IAC personnel the opportunities and potential strategies that can help execute the mission of MALT IAC.
Service and activities of the MALT IAC D&I Council include:
- Attend two meetings per year (in person or online),
- Help the MALT IAC recruit industrial guest speakers to our underrepresented student group events, and
- Provide review, comment, and insight that can help the MALT IAC reach our measures of success goals.
