About Louisiana Tech

About Louisiana Tech’s ASCE Student Chapter

The Louisiana Tech University student chapter of ASCE currently maintains a student group of around 60 active members. Throughout the school year, various events are hosted by the student chapter to bring civil engineering students together while engaging with other engineering disciplines. The College of Engineering and Science at Louisiana Tech holds an interdisciplinary competition amongst student organizations every year with points awarded based on student involvement as well as activity on campus and throughout the college. The ASCE Student Chapter has won the “COES Cup” for the last several years, resulting in recognition and scholarship for the student chapter. Throughout the year, many events are planned with the intent of connecting students with industry professionals.
