Scholarship Opportunities for Incoming Students

Louisiana Tech offers incoming and first-year students multiple scholarship opportunities.

CyberCorps®: Scholarship for Service (SFS) Program

Louisiana Tech offers the CyberCorps®: Scholarship for Service (SFS) Program to both undergraduate juniors and seniors and graduate students who are majoring in Computer Science with a Cybersecurity concentration or Cyber Engineering. The program provides financial assistance as well as networking and other professional opportunities.

Living with the Lab

Louisiana Tech’s Innovative, Hands-On Engineering Curriculum Louisiana Tech’s first-year engineering program provides an immersive, project-focused experience of sequential courses using robotic kits and software to provide laboratory and design projects.

Living with Cyber

Louisiana Tech’s Hands-On Cyber Engineering and Computer Science Curriculum Louisiana Tech’s first-year computing curriculum utilizes a unique hardware platform to provide hands-on projects in the intricacies of computing that results in an immersive learning environment.

Student Activities

College of Engineering and Science students have numerous opportunities to get involved through organizations that relate to their majors and interests. Whether you’re looking for tutoring, a chance to work on high-level research, or an opportunity to hang out with other members of the COES community, you’ll find that with our College. Louisiana Tech’s Engineering and Science Association (ESA) organizes tutoring and outreach throughout the year, including GumboFest and Spring Release — held in the Fall and Spring Quarters, respectively.
