College of Engineering and Science offers online master’s degree
Louisiana Tech University students wanting to pursue a master’s degree in Engineering and Technology Management can now do so entirely online.
The College of Engineering and Science has offered the degree program for the past nine years at its Ruston campus and to students in the Shreveport-Bossier City area via the Tech Barksdale campus. Through the use of innovative online delivery systems, courses in this degree program are now available to anyone, anywhere.
The Engineering and Technology Management degree program blends both engineering and business skills together to prepare graduates to be more effective managers and leaders. Working professionals from around the country can take advantage of Tech’s uniquely affordable high quality education.
“This program is an excellent opportunity for anyone seeking to develop project management, leadership, and organizational skills in industry or practice,” said Stan Napper, dean of the College of Engineering and Science at Louisiana Tech.
Both engineers and technical managers, who may or may not be engineers themselves, will now be able to obtain a relevant, advanced degree from Louisiana Tech at their convenience from their home or office.
“Completing my Master of Science degree in engineering and technology management at Louisiana Tech has provided me the advanced skills I desired to raise my job performance to a higher level,” said Tambry Calhoun, a recent graduate of the program.
