Dr. David Mills, professor of biological sciences and Institute for Micromanufacturing and faculty associate in biomedical engineering at Louisiana Tech University, will serve as Chair for a session on nanoscale anti-microbial and anti-infective nanocoatings at the First World Congress on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (NANO S&T), October 23-26 at the World EXPO Center in Dalian, China. Mills will also present an invited talk titled, “Ultrasonic Nebulization as an Effective Method for Creating Multi-layered, Multi-component Anti-infective Nanocoatings.” “This is a great opportunity to present the hard work of my undergraduate and graduate research students on an international stage,” said Mills.  “In addition, it will give the opportunity to interact with researchers from across the globe and the potential to develop new international collaborations.” NANO S&T is a dedicated event for nanoscience and nanotechnology professionals and aims to offer professionals in nano-related fields a multi-disciplinary platform to learn more about the latest scientific updates and current industry standards. Participants will explore intimate knowledge of the research, business and investment activities occurring throughout the global nanotechnology community through business and technology plans.
