The IEEE Nanotechnology Council (IEEE NTC) of Louisiana Tech University is a multi-disciplinary group whose purpose is to advance and coordinate work, education, and student networking in the field of Nanotechnology carried out throughout the IEEE in scientific, literary, and educational areas with other organizations, schools, faculty, and the Nanosystems industry. The Council supports the theory, design, and development of nanotechnology and its scientific, engineering, and industrial applications. Membership shall be open to all those who share the stated purpose of the society and who have educational, practical, or research experience in nanotechnology or in an allied scientific field. All members and officers must be students currently enrolled at Louisiana Tech University.
