About the College
The Louisiana Tech College of Engineering and Science equips engineers and scientists to develop solutions for the challenges of tomorrow. As our students prepare to build tomorrow’s world, they receive hands-on, interdisciplinary training in applied sciences, computer science, engineering, and mathematics. In addition to pursuing degree options, they can participate in research both in class and at integrated research centers, where they collaborate with faculty and other experts in various areas, such as nanotechnology, cyber security and green engineering.

Scholarships

Currently enrolled COES undergraduate students:

Information regarding applications for scholarships offered through the College of Engineering and Science will be provided by the Undergraduate Studies Office via campus email.This information is typically emailed within the first two weeks of the spring quarter.

2013-2014 COES Scholarship Application

Scholarship applications for the 2013-2014 academic year will only be collected via online submission. You only need to submit one application.This one application will apply you for ALL COES scholarships. Scholarship applications are available. Click here to apply. The deadline for submission is March 31, 2013. No applications will be accepted after that date. If you have any questions, please contact Jane Petrus at japetrus@latech.edu.

Incoming freshmen: Please refer to the general scholarship information provided on the Admissions webpage. The application for admission to the university is considered the scholarship application. Priority consideration is given to incoming freshman applicants who apply before January 5. The vast majority of scholarships awarded through the College of Engineering and Science are available only to currently enrolled students.
